Scatter charts are a great new feature in SCOT, providing a very visual overview of top and flop performers.
Granularity on "Contributors" page is at article variant level, so each dot on the scatter chart represents an article variant. Depending on the number of top and flop article variants, clusters are formed on the charts giving a general image of performance.
Focus Articles - Net OTIF & Delivered Not On Time/In Full Order Value
The first scatter chart is plotted between the Net OTIF percentage (%) and the Delivered Not On Time/In Full Order Value. So for each article variant, it will be visible what the Net OTIF has been for the period selected and what the value has been for the part of the order which has not been delivered on time or in full.
The most problematic article variants are shown in the bottom right section of the scatter chart: OTIF is very low and not delivered order value is high.
The good article variants are placed in the upper left section of the chart: high OTIF, low value.
IMPORTANT: Information in this scatter chart comes from SCOT.
Focus Articles - Availability & Lost Sales Opportunity
The second scatter chart is plotted between Availability (%) and Lost Sales Opportunity (NNBP). Availability is in percentages for the time period and for the article variants selected in the filters. Lost Sales Opportunity is in terms of NNBP (Net Net Buying Price).
The most problematic article variants are shown in the bottom right section of the scatter chart: less availability and higher Lost Sales Opportunity value.
Article variants from the upper left section of the scatter chart: good availability and less Lost Sales Opportunity.
If there is Availability data, but Lost Sales Opportunity data is not available, Lost Sales Opportunity will be zero.
IMPORTANT: Information in this scatter chart comes from EDGE.
General Notes
1. Each scatter chart can be printed or downloaded as PDF or image by clicking on the three dots menu at the right upper side of the chart.
2. Each scatter chart shows a yellow horizontal line and a yellow vertical line. What is the meaning of these lines?
Horizontal = 90% OTIF threshold (fixed value)
Vertical: 75% of maximum/highest value of an article variant (dynamic value)
3. Each scatter chart provides a "zooming" option. By hovering with the mouse over the dots on the chart, a pop-up shows the KPI information for each specific article variant that you are on.
When clicking on a dot, Focus Articles table shows only info about that article variant. Click on several dots one after another and the table will change to reflect information about each specific article variant selected in the chart.
"Unselect Article" option becomes available in scatter chart to take user back to all results, zooming back to general chart view.
