As a Metro Admin you can translate the interface of the SCOT application into your own country language(s). Translation is done in SCOT Pre-Production (PP): https://scot-pp.metronom.com/
After entering all needed translations, please inform us at scot@sourcingsupport.de and our tech team will publish the translations to SCOT Production.
1. Log in into SCOT PP and go to Translations in the left-menu bar. The language of your country is preselected.
Select the feature (section) you want to translate and click on Yes under Auto apply across features to have the same string translation populated everywhere throughout the application.
Click on Load.
2. Enter your translations or modify the existing ones. Click on Save & View (right bottom corner of the page) and check the translations you entered directly in SCOT to make sure their display and context are correct.
3. You can export all application strings in Excel in order to quickly check what is missing and what you want to update. Go to the burger icon at the right upper corner of the string grid and select Export Excel.
The exported Excel file will contain ALL application strings, for all sections. All you need to do is click through the sheets in Excel.
NOTE: For now, translation import via Excel is not supported in SCOT. You can use the exported translation file as a quick reference in spotting the missing translations. After that you need to go back to SCOT, load the needed section and manually enter your translations.
4. Send us an email at scot@sourcingsupport.de to let us know that translations are ready in PP. As soon as our tech team publishes these translations in Prod, we will confirm back to you.
