How to add Article to MQuality if you cannot find it in the system yet ?
- Users with Country QA Expert or Global QA role have authorization to create new article in MQuality if such one not exist jet in the system
- Under article main menu you will select the ‘Article’ option
- please click on the “Create Article” button.
- on the next page you have to select the correct “COMS Category” (search icon) option from the screen for your article
- please select COMS category and the Division from the drop down menu , one correct for your article
- Based on the selection a list of expandable options appears.
- please select the lowest level of COMS structure
- click on “Save”.
after you save the correct place system will jump to the first screen of article master data where you can see few of the fields auto populated based on COMS category selection.
- under Product name you will be able to add some more details like brand about your article - please do it now carefully because after you will have RP or SP with this article to correct the name will be a bit difficult
- if you create article for country X please select - local sourcing under sourcing type and your country in next line
Please select the appropriate user from the drop down menu in the next fields.
- please select correct CQA expert - for QA part , OB Expert and OB manager - for packaging part in the specification (those users will receive than mails and remainders for the next tasks within workflow)
- in this fields you will be able to choose person which have CQA or OB Expert role in MQuality
in next fields you can put information :
- Quality Link number
- external system article Id (eSourcing / MBS / LS)
- Contract start and end date
- if the article belongs to Ultra fresh
- and tick - if is seasonal ?
in next area please maintain GTIN details
- You can add the GTIN details - for details please see other article please click here
- and benchmarking details , both areas you can update later as well.
- and click on “Save” button and the new article is added successfully.
After new article has been created , the status of this article is "in development" - not active , so you will be not able to activete your RP or SP with this article.
First you have to activate the article in following steps :
1. copy your new article name
2. go to article icon - Mass Activation part
3. search for your article , select it (one or more ) and activate - see below
after activate the status of your article will change to ACTIVE and you will be able to do SP or RP with it.
