You have 2 options to have Tray Dimensions in Spaceman:


Option 1

Manually enter Tray dimensions on article level in Spaceman. This data is not interfaced, this means that the dimensions you manually enter in Spaceman, won't be overwritten by the night run.



As soon as Tray dimensions (H,W,D) are defined under Product -> Physical -> Tray, "Tray" becomes available as a "Merch Style".



Option 2


Add into the UDEF table"dw_udef_space_pack_type” the abbreviation for Tray. In such a case, you will receive artificial measurement from MDW.


In the UDEF (dw_udef_space_pack_type) table in MDW the abbrevation for Tray should be in. In Germany it is "TY". In another country it could be something in cyrilic.
During the data selection in MDW, it will be checked if there is for a special MGE Number a corresponding MGE Number with e.g. "TY".

  • In Case a PackTypeCode equal to the UDEF insert is available, the measurements for this bundle are taken
  • It is a kind of an “artificial” measurement creation
 
Potential problems:


  • UDEF table is not filled in every country
  • Only in a few countries the ‘real’ TY PackTypeCode exists
  • So if a country has many trays defined (internally), but they are all linked to different PackTypeCodes (e.g. Karton, Display, a.s.o.) it cannot work
