Sometimes you cannot save a Planogram. This is a common issue specially for migrated planograms. This issue can be caused by 3 different reasons (see below how to solve this issue).

Please note: If you cannot save the planogram, please wait 30 seconds before trying to save it again. The same applies in case you make mistakes in the application.

Check the field "Notes" in the planogram you are trying to save

  • Open the planogram
  • Click on “Notes”
  • In case of a text, delete it.

Check the planogram conversion options and uncheck the field "Automatically convert all planograms on load"

  • Open Spaceman

  • Click on “File” –> “Options”

  • Click on “Planogram Conversion”
  • Click on “Conversion Options…”

  • In the tab “General”, please uncheck the field “Automatically convert all planograms on load”. This will avoid new text to be automatically added to the “Notes” field.

Pay special attention to the name convention of the planogram

  • The planogram name should have maximum 28 characters
  • No special characters allowed (e.g.: ä, ö, ü, _, &, (, ) etc.)

Pay special attention to the amount of characters in the description fields columns in Spaceman (e.g. Desc_D)

  • In the description field columns (e.g. Desc_D), only 100 characters are allowed in the database
  • Please make sure your descriptions are have maximum 100 characters
  • In case you cannot save the planogram, shorten the description and save the planogram into connectivity again
